First, you play a 3v3 squad strike game with random characters. You must play these characters for your entire first set. Then, the winner gets to trade one of their characters with the loser.

For example, if P1 wins the first set with Mario, Luigi, and Peach, and P2 loses with Kirby, King Dedede, and Meta Knight, then P1 can trade their Peach for P2's Kirby.

P1's team is now Mario, Luigi, And Kirby. P2's team is now Peach, Kind Dedede, and Meta Knight.

This event is still double elimination.
