Event Rules
Players will start off in qualifiers
Tournament format:
- 8 Race Grand Prix Free For All
- Up to 12 players at a time
Race Rules:
- Mode: Grand Prix 150cc (Lan play)
- Teams: No Teams
- Items: Normal Items
- Characters: All Characters
- Vehicles: All Vehicles
- COM: No Coms
- Smart Steering: OFF
Note: Tournament schedule will be determined by the number of entries. If there are more than 12 entries, sets will be done in a modified double-elimination format with players in the first round either advancing to the next round or to a last-chance qualifier (LCQ).
- If less than 12 players, Tournament format will change to a 16 Race Free For All, 2 sets of 8 races with an intermission between sets
Qualifiers:
- Up to 4 Qualifier Heats (Every Hour, on top of the hour starting at 4pm)
- Up to 12 Players
- 8 Tracks (150cc, Normal Items, No CPU)

- Race #8: Wii Coconut Mall
- Top 3 Advances to Finals
Finals:
- 8pm
- 12 Players
- 12 Races
- Top 3 Play Out
Side Note: Players are allowed to bring their own Switches with MK8D as long as they dont contain any modified software. Docks and accessories will be provided. Switches with game will be provided if needed, but characters/karts/Vehicle parts are not guaranteed.
Tournament Rules
- If you are experiencing fever, coughing, or any symptoms of Covid-19 we please ask you not to attend the tournament.
- If players start experiencing covid like symptoms during the tournament we will have to ask them to leave the tournament area for the safety of the player and those around them.
- All tournament players must wear a mask regardless if they have or have not been vaccinated
- Players are subject to temperature checks with a touchless thermometer before they are let into the tournament area
- If a player does not pass a temp check they will not be let into the tournament
- No sharing of controllers between players, Players must bring and use their own controllers for the entirety of the tournament
- All payment transactions for tournament fees can be made online through Smash.gg before the start time of the tournament.
- All tournament registration will be done online before the deadline (before 3pm the date of the tournament)
- At this time we will not be taking in person registration so online registration will be the only way to enter
- If players do not register and pay dues before the deadline, they will not be able to play in the tournament, no exceptions
- There will be a Tournament zone established during the tournament that only Tournament players will be able to access, Set ups will be Dual screen, one monitor each per person to allow social distancing of at least 6ft between players
- Tournaments will allow spectators on a first come, first serve basis as the venue capacity allows under Covid compliance. Spectators will not be allowed inside the tournament area at this time
