Set Rules

Pools are best of 3. Top 4 is best of 5. For game 1, players pick their character simultaneously before stage bans. For all subsequent games, the winner of the previous game picks their character first then the loser of the previous game selects their character. Character selection is always before stage bans and stage selection.

Stage Rules

The stage list is split into 9 buckets.

Game 1

Players play rock paper scissors. The winner bans 4 buckets. Then, the RPS loser selects the top stage from an unbanned bucket to play on game 1.

Games 2+

The winner of the previous game bans 3 buckets if BO3 and 2 buckets if BO5. Then, the loser of the previous game selects a stage in a bucket that is not banned and contains no stages that have previously been played on this set. (gDS2R)
