TOURNAMENT FORMAT Mode: VS mode | timer set to 99 counts Bracket Format: Double Elimination Winner must keep same characters, Player who lost the previous game may change characters. If there are any character changes, players may choose a new stage as well. RULES DRAW: In the event of a tied Match declared by a “Draw” or “Double K.O.” at the game end screen, that Match will not be scored and both Players will replay the Match with the same characters and orders and the same stage selected.

MATCH DISRUPTIONS: In the event of a Player disruption caused by pausing or disconnecting a controller (intentionally or accidentally), the Player who caused the disruption will forfeit the current round of the Match (NOTE: SWC2023 rules state that the player who interrupted the game will lose). For disruptions outside of Players' control, (i.e. power failure, etc.) match will either be restarted from the point of interruption or replayed at the decision of the T.O. with the same character and stage selections.

CONTROLLERS: BYOC Players are responsible for bringing a controller. Converters will be provided if needed (limited converters available). If using a converter, plug in controller and wait 3-5 seconds before use. The use of all arcade controllers, game pads, etc. that can be used on the platform specified by the Organizers is permitted. However, the wireless connection must be terminated after a match to avoid affecting other matches. Use of macro functions other than those provided within the game is prohibited.
