Game Rules

• Double Elimination format
• 2/3 rounds, 2/3 sets until Winners, Losers and Grand Finals
• Winners, Losers and Grand Finals are 3/5 sets
• 99 second game timer
• Random select stage
• Kanzuki Beach, Skies of Honor and Flamenco Tavern are banned
• If you play on a pad, desync your controller to prevent interruptions
• If a pause occurs during a match, the player who caused the pause loses a round
• No Gentlemen's Rules

Participation Rules

In order to be eligible as a belt holder in Battle for The Belt, you must be a native of one of the follow counties:

• Broward
• Charlotte
• Collier
• Glades
• Hendry
• Lee
• Martin
• Miami-Dade
• Monroe
• Palm Beach

  Anyone outside of these counties can still participate in tournament but is not permitted to be a belt holder.
