UBCEA R6 will be hosting a 5v5-based Rainbow 6 Siege tournament for UBCEA's Sunset series. Competitors are welcome from all over North America and all skill levels are welcome to participate!


Tournament Fee: $25 CAD per team. Teams are requested to Etransfer/paypal the registration fee to finance@ubcesports.ca INCLUDING your team name. Once the fee is confirmed, teams will be confirmed for the event. Team's without payment will be removed.

Prize Pool: The prize pool will be TBD based on the turnout of registration.





Tournament Format:

All teams will face each other in a round robin qualifier bracket where 3, bo1 games will be played. Top 4 teams from the round robin will move onto a single elimination bracket where round 1 is a bo1 and the grand final is a bo3. There is overtime and no draws will take place.
In the case there are not enough teams to justify a round robin qualifier, a double elimination bracket will take place with all matches being bo1 and the grand final is a bo3.



Event Start Time:12pm noon PST on Sunday, August 21, 2022. (Captain are requested to be 10-15 minutes early for game 1 and ensure things are ready including MOSS)



All players are required to run MOSS during every match played. Failure to provide a moss file will result in disqualification.



Teams will be required to use the UBCEA discord to ensure team captains can be contacted.

Teams will be playing a single-elimination bracket during our LAN stage on the 27th.
