Code Of Conduct: Thaiger Uppercut Championship has a zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination, violence, threats, intimidation, inappropriate contact, and harassment (sexual or otherwise). Incidents of this nature will result in immediate disqualification from tournament events, forefeiture of all prize eligibility and a minimum 1-year to lifetime attendance ban.

General Rules: Unless otherwise noted, games will be played on default settings. Tournaments will be run in a double elimination format. Larger attendence may require that attendees be split into pools. In this instance the top 2 players of each pool will proceed into the next phase of the tournament.

In Game macros are permitted as part of your controller mapping (i.e.: PPP / KKK in Street Fighter V) Accidentally pausing the game at any time during a match may force you to forfeit the round (Solely at judge’s discretion). If you choose Random Select to pick a character and win the match, you must Random Select your character again.

All console competitors are responsible for bringing their own controller. TGU will not supply you with one. Cronus and Chronus Max Wireless converters are BANNED. Brook Converters are legal and allowed. PS4 Dualshock or wireless controllers of any kind must be desync’d and delete from the consoles BluTooth settings at the conclusion of your match. Failure to do so will result in the player being disqualified if another match is interrupted.

It is the player’s responsibility to notify their judge if they are entered into multiple tournaments and there is a schedule conflift. If you have any issues with the tournament itself or tournament play please find a TGU tournament director.

Collusion of any kind with your competitors is considered cheating. If the Tournament Director determines that any competitor is colluding to manipulate the results or intentionally underperforming, the collaborating players may be immediately disqualified. This determination is to be made at the sole discretion of the Tournament Director. Anyone disqualified in this manner forfeits all rights to any titles or prizes they might have otherwise earned for that tournament.

PAYOUTS FOR OUR TOURNAMENTS

Tournaments with 63 competitors or less will pay out to the top 3. 1ˢᵗ Place – 60% 2nd Place – 25% 3rd Place – 15%

Tournament with 64 competitors or more will pay out to the Top 8. 1ˢᵗ Place – 50% 2nd Place – 20% 3rd Place – 13% 4th Place – 7% 5th Place (tie) – 3% 7th Place (tie) – 2%

POT BONUSES Pot Bonuses, when provided by developers or sponsors, will be split based on their respective requests.
