Double Elimination Style Tournament

• Double Elimination tournament definition: A double-elimination tournament is a type of elimination tournament competition in which a participant ceases to be eligible to win the tournament's championship upon having lost two games or matches.
• Best 2 out of 3 wins match for sets at the beginning of the tournament.
• Best 3 out of 5 wins match for Top 8 matches (Winners Semi-Final, Winners Final, Grand Final, Top 8 Losers Round 1, Losers Quarter-Final, Losers Semi-Final, & Losers Final)
• Sudden-Death matches DO NOT COUNT. Will be played as 1v1 1-stock match with 7 minutes until a winner is determined.
• Registration Deadline: 1/31/21 @ 5:50pm EST
• NO EVENT CHECK-IN. At the start of the tournament, go straight to your match and Settle It In Smash!
• Start Time: 1/31/21 @ 6:00pm EST
• (Once your match is called to start, you will be given 5 minutes to appear at the designated online station. Failure to be present during that time will result in an auto-disqualification for that particular match - we will be VERY STRICT on this policy and punctuality. Please arrive on time.)
