Platform: Steam (PC)
Bracket Format: Double elimination. 3/5 rounds. 60 second rounds. Random stage selection. 2/3 games for all matches excluding Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals which are 3/5.
Stage Selection: In game 2 and beyond, the losing player of the previously game may choose to 1) rematch 2) keep the same character and pick a new stage 3) change characters and a new random stage. The first game of the match will always be played with random stage selection.
In the case of a tied match as a result of a Double K.O., the match will not be counted and will be replayed.
All Characters and Stages are legal
If a custom character customization or banned preset is picked (and not agreed to prior by both players) and recognized by a player at the start of round 1 or 2 of the current game, the current game should be replayed without the prohibited choice. The final score of any previously played games remains.
Character customizations are banned unless agreed to by both players.
The following preset costumes are banned unless agreed to by both players.
- Gigas: Preset 3
- Jack-7 Preset 3
- Jack-7: Preset 4
All rules are subject to change at the discretion of the tournament admins.

This also applies to non GameWorks tournaments. If you cause a delay and are found to be in another event you will be DQed from all GW events for the entire night and possibly future events.US AND CANADA PLAYERS ONLY
Behavior
Any Competitor or Team may be disqualified immediately from any GameWorks event at the discretion of the event admin team
Offenses that will invoke a DQ and removal from event are but not limited to the following
- Using any cheats, hacks or other third party "helper" applications in playing matches
- Intentionally disconnecting from the Internet during any match
- Colluding with other players in playing matches
- Intentionally slowing down setup and lobby creation
- Taking advantage of known exploits in the game (it is the responsibility of players to understand and avoid all current illegal exploits)
- Abusive or disorderly behavior, including any use of harassing, negative, or profane language online. This includes towards fellow competitors, other community members, viewers and staff members. GameWorks practices and enforces a safe play environment..
