Strike Rules
- Rock, Paper, Scissors
Winner bans 1 starter stage; loser bans 2 starter stages; winner bans 1 more starter stage; the first game will be played on the remaining starter stage.
Stage Selection Clauses
The winner of the previous game will ban 3 stages.
No DSR
Timeout Rules
- In the case of a timeout that causes sudden death, the player with the lower percent wins the game.
Double Jeopardy
- If one player wins a set against another player in the 'Winners' bracket, and the same players play again in the 'Losers' bracket, their 'Losers' round set (outside of Top 16) will be the best of 5.
Double KO
- If a match ends in a Double KnockOut, both players will replay the match (same stage/characters) in a 1-stock situation.
Important Details
2-minute DQ timer: If after 2 minutes when your match is called, and the TO does not know where you are/what you are doing, you will be DQed to the 'Losers' bracket (if the instance occurs in the 'Winners' side of the bracket); and DQed from the respective bracket all-together (if the instance occurs in the 'Losers' side of the bracket).
Do not begin a match until you have been assigned a station number by the tournament organizer(s).
Report the score of your match to the TO(s) ASAP once it is over.
ZERO-TOLERANCE VENUE DAMAGE POLICY: If property inside of the venue, or the venue itself, is damaged due to rage, anger, frustration, etc., you will be DQed from the event with NO REFUND.
