The King of Fighters XV will have a side tournament in the Assymylly Summer 2023! The side tournament will be on Friday 4.8, starting 7pm EEST. All players must be on the venue before the tournament starts or inform in the Assymylly discord about being late.

Rules for the tournament are as followed:
- double elimination
- FT2 sets until finals, which means winners finals, losers finals and grand finals are played FT3. The losers side player also has to reset the bracket during the grand finals meaning he has to win two sets of FT3 to win the tournament
- ingame timer set to 60
- the loser of a match can switch his characters during a set
- coaching mid set is not allowed

Rules

All matches are played on PC. All players must have a controller compatible with the PC.

The tournament format is Double Elimination.

To win a set a player must win 2 or 3 matches depending on the stage of the tournament. To win a match a player must win 3 rounds.

The time limit of a round is 60 seconds.

The stage of the 1st match will be random. The loser of the match can either change their character and pick a random stage or keep playing the same character and pick out the stage they want. The winner of the match is not allowed to change their character.

The set format is FT2 until the finals stage of Top 8.

In Top 8 the set format is FT3 for Winners, Losers and Grand Finals.
