Check-In and Time Rules

Each round is 60 minutes long. Players have 8 minutes to check in before each round. If you miss this check-in, you will be disqualified (DQ) with no option to reset. After checking in, you have 3 minutes to create a duel room. You have 3 minutes between games to switch accounts if needed. If your opponent exceeds this time, notify a moderator. If your opponent is not present within 3 minutes of the duel room being posted, or if they’re not ready while in the chat, call a moderator for assistance. DQs for missing check-ins are final unless you have prior communication with a moderator on the tournament platform or Discord. Players with no prior contact may face penalties. Overtime and Delay Rules

If a match exceeds the 60-minute limit, the game will end at the current turn, with the player who has higher life points awarded the win. A moderator will confirm this outcome. Both players must keep track of the timer and notify mods if any overtime situations occur. If a third game begins in overtime, sudden death rules apply. Players causing repeated delays may have their next rounds set to Best of 1 until they catch up to keep the tournament on schedule. Reporting and Decklist Content

Report your game score after every game, not at the end of the match. If both players fail to report a score, the system may assign a random win to move the round forward. Any inappropriate or Twitch TOS-violating content in your decklist will result in disqualification and potential bans from future events. Deck Check Procedures

What to Do:

Note how many copies of any specific card you observed from your opponent and record which game of the set the issue occurred in. If your deck is being checked, open a replay of the game in question and screenshot your deck (including a timestamp). Failing to provide a proper screenshot may lead to game/match losses or a ban from DW events. What Not to Do:

Don’t request an entire decklist screenshot. Don’t request a check for cards that you did not observe in the game. Don’t ask your opponent to send screenshots of their decklist directly. Disconnects and Technical Issues

If you experience a disconnection or glitch, take a screenshot and call a moderator immediately. For glitches like “floating cards,” the game may be reset. Disconnections due to internet issues will follow standard Konami rules. Coin Flip Disputes

In the event of a glitch after a coin flip, both players must agree on the result. If no agreement is reached, provide proof via screenshot or recording. A moderator should be called if disputes persist. Warnings and Penalties

If you accumulate 3 warnings during the tournament, you will receive a game loss. Continued violations, such as missing or incomplete screenshots, may lead to further match losses. Unsportsmanlike Conduct

Unsportsmanlike behavior directed at opponents or moderators will not be tolerated. Moderators may issue penalties, including game loss, match loss, or disqualification, depending on the severity. Duel Room Timer Alterations

Any attempt to alter duel room timers will result in immediate disqualification and may lead to a ban from future events. Event Carryover Due to Maintenance

If the tournament is interrupted by in-game maintenance, it will resume at the same start time on the following day. Decklist Violations

Using a card not listed in your deck will result in penalties based on whether you surrender or continue: If you surrender immediately: First offense = game loss, second = match loss, third = DQ. If you continue without surrendering: First offense = match loss, second = DQ. Collusion and Finals Completion

If you cannot complete the grand finals, you must forfeit your position to the previous player. DW may disqualify and ban players suspected of collusion or intentionally underperforming. Attempting to persuade an opponent to concede will not be tolerated. "Speed Duel" Restart

If our duel runners cannot keep up with your game or if spectating issues occur, you may be asked to restart the duel. Grand Finals Surrender and Concessions

Surrendering in the grand finals is not allowed. Under no circumstances should you pressure or ask your opponent to concede or give up their win.
