Winner of prior game must keep same character and control type
Loser of prior game may switch character and control type
Dynamic control type is banned
Random stage select (players may opt for an agreed stage)
The following stages are banned from tournament play:
-Training Room
If a banned stage is randomly selected, repeat random stage selection process until a tournament legal stage appears
