Team seeding will be determined by the team's Overwatch Collegiate (OWC) ranking, or, if the team is not participating in OWC, ranking will be determined by average team SR for the last completed competitive season. Other proofs of winnings can be used at the discretion of the Tournament Organizer.
For all sections of the Tournament, the initial control map will be assigned by Tournament Administration, and the subsequent maps will be chosen from a set of maps within each game type by the losing team. Winners will pick whether they attack or defend first. Matches will be played as first to 2 wins, while Finals are played as a first to 3 wins, according to the following progression:
CONTROL (Assigned): Lijiang Tower, Busan, Oasis, Nepal, Ilios
HYBRID: King's Row, Numbani, Hollywood, Eichenwalde, Midtown, Paraiso
ESCORT: Dorado, Havana, Junkertown, Route 66, Watchpoint: Gibraltar, Circuit Royale
PUSH (BO3 Tiebreaker): Colosseo, New Queen Street
CONTROL (Map not yet played): Lijiang Tower, Busan, Oasis, Nepal, Ilios
ESCORT (BO5 Tiebreaker) (Map not yet played): Dorado, Havana, Junkertown, Route 66, Watchpoint: Gibraltar, Circuit Royale
All games should be played with the “Competitive” pre-set selected. All maps except for the map to be played should be set to “off”. All heroes communicated to be banned (if any, communicated by the admins) should also be set to “off”. The lobby should be set to “Invite Only.” Kill-cams should be set to “off”. Role limit should be set to "Limit 2 heroes per role." Skins should be set to "Disabled" (not required)
A team may request a pause only in the presence of a technical issue. Pause requests will be communicated in match chat during an ongoing match. The details of why a pause is requested must be communicated to the opposing team. Teams must request the pause and receive confirmation from the opposing team before the Tournament organizer initiates the pause. Teams must wait until the conclusion of any ongoing team fight before pausing. There will only be 30 minutes (15 min per team) of pause time allowed each match.
All Participants are required to act in a respectful sportsmanlike manner at all times. All behavior and content as part of Gator Gaming is restricted by the University of Florida's policies and guidelines. This includes Harassment, Hate Speech, NSFW topics, Bullying, Hazing, etc.
