TOURNAMENT RULES:

• We are running the 2023 Proposed Stagelist and Ruleset

• 8 minutes

• Double Elimination

• Running out the timer will give the win to the player with the highest amount of stocks, else lowest percent. If both players have the same percent and stocks, or both players die simultaneously, a 1 stock 2 minute rematch will be the tie breaker.

• 1-2-1 ban for starters

• Winner picks their character first

• Winner bans 1 stage

• Dave's Stupid Rule: A player who has previously won on a stage may not choose to play it again.

General Event Rules

• All participating players must keep any and all Drugs, Alcohol, Nicotine Products, and other substances out of the store at ALL times.
• Players that are caught with substances in the store space will be immediately ejected from the event and venue, and receive a One (1) Month Ban.
• If a player is caught with substances in the store after a temporary ban, they will be immediately and permanently ejected and barred from ALL future events at Fire and Ice Games, and be reported to the region's local Safety Panel for their respective communities.
• Players in attendance will be asked to leave if they fail to be present in the store without meeting the bare minimum of bodily cleanliness. Please do not come un-bathed. Wear deodorant, and additionally, PLEASE wash your hands/use cleaning products such as sanitizer before and after using any store equipment.
• Please be respectful and courteous to all patrons within the store and it's staff. Confrontations with other patrons will be immediately intervened, and a warning will be issued. A second outburst or negative confrontation will results in immediate ejection from the tournament and venue, and a ban (duration depending on severity of the infraction.)
• Outbursts or negative remarks directed at the staff, TO's, or owner will result in an immediate ban and arena ejection.
• Purposeful destruction or damage to Fire and Ice Retro Game's property will also result in an immediate event/venue ejection, and permanent ban. Depending on the damage (if it is pre-meditated, willful, or otherwise not an accident) you will be billed the cost of the damages.)
• Theft of Fire and Ice Game's property will result in a permanent store ban, and you will have your information provided to the store's local authorities, as well as blacklisted from all future NorCal tournaments. The store is under full 24 hour surveillance camera supervision, so be mindful of the space, the staff, your fellow patrons, and TO's at all times.
