⭐ How to Play

• Players are required to join the Flash Fever Discord in order to participate.
• Players are required to change their nicknames on Discord to match their start.gg name and Steam. Example: Camalange (Camalange). This is just incase another player or mod needs to communicate with you.
• Use start.gg to coordinate with your opponent for matches. Pay attention to ⁠#stream-matches in case you are called for a match on stream. You should also see this on the start.gg bracket.
• Players will be notified for a stream match are required to hold off on playing their match until called.
• Do not play your match off-stream if you are selected for a stream match - if you are unsure, check in with a TO.

⭐ Disputes

• If there are any disputes (accidental DQ, score dispute) please ping @staff to notify your bracket runner on Discord.
• In the event that a player is suspected of having an unstable connection, a TO will connect with the accused to determine if the issue is on their end. Wired connection is heavily recommended, if possible.
• Please let a TO know if you plan to DQ yourself from the tournament so we can save time.
• Standard rules of conduct still apply even though we are playing online. Don't be a jerk or we will DQ you.
• Anything not covered here is up to the TO's discretion.

⭐ Game-Specific Rules

• Platform: Steam/iOS/Android
• Game settings: Default
• Double Elimination bracket.
• Infinite stalling is not allowed. In the event of Sudden Death, the player with the lower % before the time ends wins the game (the result of Sudden Death does not count).
• All matches are 2/3 leading up to Top 8. All matches in Top 8 are 3/5.
• Winners must keep same characters. Loser can switch characters. Loser locks their character after stage picks. Any player can request blind picks for game 1. If you require a blind pick, contact a TO.
• All Stages & all Stickers are legal.
• Standard DSR (a player cannot counterpick to any stage they have won on during the set). 1-2-1 striking with the higher seed striking first. After game 1, the winner bans 2 stages and the loser choose the stage for the next game.
• Stage Selection Clause (winner of the previous game will ban 2 stages. Players are not allowed to counterpick to the most recent stage that they won on).
• Gentleman Clause (at the top of the set, we will allow players to mutually agree upon which stage to play on. However, if either player at the beginning of the seat opposes to the Gentleman Clause, players must follow the rules of Standard DSR and Stage Selection Clause).
• Higher seed will create and host the Friendly Battle lobby.
• Higher seed hosts Game 1 if players are from different regions, then alternate regions for each following game.
• This is a NA event. If you are located outside of NA you may still enter, but are limited to selecting NA servers.
