Rivals 2

• Bracket: Double elimination, best of 3 until top 8, unless otherwise stated.
• Game Settings: 3 Stocks, 8:00 Timer, and Tourney Mode ON (set to Bo3 or Bo5 as necessary).
• Counter Picking: When counter picking, the winner must choose their character first. Either player may choose to change characters.
• Counter pick stages are chosen with 2 bans and Modified DSR.
  • Modified DSR: A player cannot counter pick to the last stage they won on during the set.
• Any controller is permitted provided that it does not use a macro or turbo function. TOs may inspect any controller at any time.
• If a controller disconnects or the game is paused mid-game, the affected player must lose a stock.

The Cool Kids Club Rule

• Fries on a Salad is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other aspect of their identity. Discrimination, targeted harassment, or any behavior that makes others feel unwelcome or unsafe will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Anyone found engaging in such behavior will face an immediate and permanent ban from this event, with no exceptions. Let's work together to ensure that Fries on a Salad is a place where all members of the Pittsburgh FGC feel safe, respected, and valued.

Registration and Payment

• Online registration ends at 6:30 PM. People may register in person until 6:45 PM.
• Acceptable payment methods include cash, PayPal/Venmo, and quarters. Please do not try to pay with other coins, I'm sorry I know it's funny.
• The $5 setup discount will only apply once per person, and can be applied to spectators provided that they let the setup be used for bracket.
• People who DQ from their round 1 match may request a refund of their venue/entry fee.

Venue Usage

• Main Events:
  • Any event that fails to reach 6 entrants will run using Round Robin.
• Side Events:
  • Unofficial side events are permitted given the following restrictions:
  • Any side games may not be set up until 8:00 pm and may not use space occupied by main events.
  • If a player is needed for a main event, they must immediately quit and play their set. If they do not, they will receive one warning and then be DQ’ed.

Miscellaneous

• At the TO's discretion, Aurora is banned from playing any given character in Guilty Gear Strive.
• If someone can smell you (derogatory) you'll be fined $5. Don't be stinky plz.
• You will be seeded last at your next event if you ask me what the set format is after I have already announced it (ie. best of 3 or best of 5).
• People who openly claim they've retired from a game are formally banned from entering said game until they openly unretire.
