Home/Away Designation:

  • Teams will flip a coin. The winning team gets to decide if they want to be Team A or Team B.

Map Veto Process:

  • Best of 1:

    • Team A bans map
    • Team B bans map
    • Team A bans map
    • Team B bans map
    • Team A bans map
    • Team B bans map
    • The last remaining map is map 1
    • Team A picks the side for map 1, with the Team B selecting the OT side.

  • Best of 3:

    • Team A bans map
    • Team B bans map
    • Team A picks the map 1
    • Team B picks side on map 1, Team A picks OT side
    • Team B picks map 2
    • Team A picks side on map 2, Team B picks OT side
    • Team A bans map
    • Team B bans map
    • The last remaining map is map 3

Banned Operators:

  • Thunderbird
  • Any other operator(s) that are released during the competition

Code of Conduct:

  • Don't cheat, abuse bugs, or hack
  • No toxicity or unsportsmanlike behavior
  • Be respectful and nice
  • Listen to staff
  • Game organizers, advisors, and officers have the right to suspend players for breaking any rules or interfering in the operation of the tournament.

Tournament Rules

We will be hosting a speedrun tournament!

Format:

  • 2 hour time limit
  • Hosted on pre-chosen seed on the KSU Esports Minecraft Server
  • Teams of 3-5 players (will decide at tournament start)
  • First team to complete a set of tasks wins (will announce at tournament start)

Rules:

  • All KSU Minecraft rules (from the #rules channel in the Discord)
  • No cheated, hacking, scripting, or using any kinds of exploits
  • No toxicity of any kind will be tolerated
  • PvP is allowed, but camping players is not
  • You may only work with the players on your team; teaming up with other teams is not allowed
