When
  • Check-In w/ Tournament Director Opens: 3:30 PM
  • Check-In w/ Tournament Director Closes: 4:00 PM
  • Tournament Begins: 4:15 PM

Registration
  • Free Entry
  • 16 Player Cap
  • All tournaments will start approximately 15 minutes from the time above, but check-in must be completed by the established times above.
  • All the tournaments are limited to 1 per time slot with a maximum of 2 tournaments total.
  • All players must check in with their Tournament Admin within 30 minutes of the start of the bracket or you may be removed in favor of a player on standby.

Prizing
  • $150 GTD Prize Pool

Competition Format - Double Elimination
  • Once a player has lost twice, they will be eliminated from the tournament
    • Double-Elimination Bracket

Tournament Rules:

All pre-registered players are encouraged to complete registration at the venue before check-in closes. Any pre-registered players who do not complete registration before check-in closes will forfeit their reserved seats to players waiting on stand-by.

  • Bring your own controller highly recommended.
  • If you are invited on stage, you must use the HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas headsets and use the audio & video settings set by Production.

RULESET

Game Settings: Tournament Mode Default Options

  • Rounds: First to Two
  • Match: First to Three
  • Timer: 90 seconds
  • Arena Select: Off
  • Stage Select - Random
  • Interactables: On
  • Variations: Default Tournament Mode Variations and Tournament Mode Kustom Variations
Characters
  • All characters already publicly released may be selected for Matches. Any subsequent character releases will be deemed playable upon public character release.

    Character Swapping
  • Winner of prior game must keep same character

  • Loser of prior game may switch character

    Side Selection
  • Players may mutually agree who plays on the left and right side, corresponding to Player 1 and Player 2 respectively. If Players cannot agree, the higher seeded player picks their side.

Match Disruptions
Pauses
  • If a Player either intentionally or accidentally pauses the Game by either pressing the start button or unplugging their own, or their opponent’s controller, the Player who paused forfeits the current Game.
Restarts
  • Tournament Organizers may order a Game or Match restart due to exceptional circumstances, such as if a bug significantly affects a Player’s ability to play or a Game or Match is unable to finish.
Stalling
  • Stalling, exiting out of the match lobby or excessively delaying the Game or Match, may result in a Game or Match forfeit at the discretion of Tournament Organizers.
