Event Rules

SMASH ULTIMATE RULESET:

  • Matches are 2/3 (Best Of 3)

  • Top 8 Matches are 3/5 (Best Of 5)

  • Steve Tech (PMLG) is BANNED.

Game Settings:
  • 3 Stocks
  • 7:00 Timer
  • Damage Handicap: Off
  • Items: Off
  • Final Smash Meter: Off
  • Stage Hazards: Off
  • Underdog Boost: Off
  • Pause: Off
  • Spirts: Off
  • Launch Rate: 1.0x

Legal Stages:
STARTERS:
  • Town & City
  • Small Battlefield
  • Final Destination
  • Battlefield
  • Hollow Bastion
COUNTERPICKS:
  • Pokemon Stadium 2
  • Smashville
  • Kalos Pokemon League

Stage Striking:
  • Players play a round of Rock-Paper-Scissors, and the winner may choose to either strike a stage first or select a port first. Stages are struck in a 1-2-2-1 order
  • After each Game, the winner of the previous game will state if they are changing character. The loser will then state if they are changing character. The player who won the previous game will then ban up to two stages from either the Starter or Counterpick list.
    • Stage bans do no persist throughout the set

All games (excluding Smash) will be ran on PlayStation 5/4 Pros with Evo rules unless otherwise stated.
** Street Fighter III 3rd Strike-Jazzy Circuit Ruleset: https://jazzycircuit.org/resources/rules.html **

(In the case of Smash, it will use the Supernova (Super Smash Con) ruleset running on the latest version of the game.)

General Rules
  • All matches will be best of 3 until Top 3; Winners, Losers, & Grand Finals will be Best of 5 (unless otherwise stated in the rules)

  • All Guilty Gear Strive matches will be best of 5

  • Top 8 Matches for Street Fighter 6 and Super Smash Bros Ultimate will be best of 5


Controller/Equipment Policy
  • It is highly encouraged to bring your own controller; This is a Bring Your Own Controller (BYOC) event. Limited number of controllers are available upon request. Any controller/adapter you bring or decided to borrow from the event is your responsibility. (This includes any damages done to the equipment.)

  • Brook/Mayflash converters are allowed.

  • Cronus Max Plus and Titan One converters are banned.

  • Turbo Function on all controllers are banned.

  • Please disconnect your controller after each match. If you need help disconnecting a controller, ask one of the TOs for assistance.

  • By attending our event either as a spectator or competitor you are agreeing to give us permission to take your pictures or video for promotional and entertainment purposes.
