Tournament Rules

HOUSEKEEPING RULES

Please do not smoke in the venue, this includes electronic cigarettes/vapes. Please pick up after yourselves once you've finished eating.

TIMELINESS AND DQ POLICY

All player are expected to have already signed up for brackets on start.gg prior to their arrival to the venue. Online signups for brackets are open until half an hour before start time. On-site registration will be allowed up to 15 minutes before start time (this is to give players ample time to review their seed and request any bracket adjustments, within reason). Once a bracket has started, if for any reason a player decides to leave the venue they will be DQ'ed. If you are running late, please dm either PeachyTea or Tempest with your current ETA. We will try our best to hold your match but please respect our time and your fellow competitor's time.

MATCH INTERRUPTIONS/CONTROLLER DISCONNECTS

There is a maximum of 60 seconds allowed between games in a set unless agreed to by all participating parties and a TO has been notified. Should a player walk out of the venue mid-set, they will be DQ'ed.

CONTROLLER COMPATIBILITY

If your controller does not NATIVELY work with PlayStation 4/5, it is YOUR responsibility to find a solution, whether that be buying a converter or a new controller. Any controller issues are the fault of the player, and controller issues that delay the bracket will result in disqualification. Players are also expected to bring their own controllers. We try our best to have a limited number on hand during the event, but bear in mind that your match may be delayed due to other players borrowing controllers/converters as well.

All rules are subject to change/be adjusted as seen fit. Any and all descision making is final once approved by either Tempest or PeachyTea. Please do not argue with us over a ruling once finalized.

Thank you all for your continued support of Iron Grid.
