The tournament will be run with a Double Elimination OR a Pools format, depending on the number of entrants. The tournament will default to Double Elimination, with regular matches being Best of 3, and all Finals being Best of 5.

• Game version: US Nintendo Switch, whichever game version is the most current at the time of the event

• Game Settings:

  • 3 Stock - 7 Minutes - Items Off - Hazards Off
  • Handicap: Off
  • Team Attack: On
  • Damage Ratio: 1.0x
  • Items: Off and None
  • Pause: Off
  • Hazard Toggle: Off
  • Final Smash Meter: Off
  • Miis: All moveset combinations are legal.

• Stage List:

  • Starter stages:
    • Battlefield
    • Small Battlefield
    • Pokemon Stadium 2
    • Smashville
    • Final Destination
  • Counterpick stages
    • Kalos Pokemon League
    • Town & City
    • Northern Cave

• Game 1:

  • Player 1 removes 1 stage from starter stages list
  • Player 2 removes 2 stages from starter stages list

• Game 2 Onward:

  • Winner removes 3 stages from full stage list
  • Loser selects from remaining stages
  • Winner selects a character
  • Loser selects a character
  • Cannot be last stage player has already won on

Each game will have a rule set specific to it. Other than that, no cheating or being overly toxic. Basically, just behave yourself! Game organizers, advisors, and officers have the right to suspend players for breaking any rules.
