How to play:
Go into "Bracket" and select your set when it is called. Click "Check In" and then select "Chat" and discuss details with your opponent to set up your match. You will have 10 mins to check in during the first two rounds of Winners and 5 mins to check in thereafter.

Lag test procedure: if you experience significant lag during a game, finish the current game and then request a mod in chat. The mod may ask you to demonstrate that you are connected via LAN (either through a photograph of your Switch home screen or through a shared screenshot), to take a speed test to test the strength of your LAN connection, and/or create a separate arena for you and your opponent to join to test the fidelity of your connection.
Player 1 will play 1 min while pressing inputs with the TO while player 2 waits in the Upper right side Player 2 will then do the same while Player 1 waits in the upper right The Player who lags the most via Sabledectect or shows the TO a Powerpoint presentation

If a game goes to Sudden Death, the winner is determined by stocks and percentage at the time the match ends. The player with the higher stock count is the winner. If both Players are tied in stocks, the player with the lower percentage is the winner. If percentage/stocks are tied, players will play a 1 stock/3 minutes playoff match.
Unified North American Ruleset
The Unified North American Ruleset was unveiled on June 5th, 2024. The project was spearheaded by Dakpo, involved many prominent tournament organizers in North America, and was approved by Nintendo, who specifically mentioned that copyright on the stages' music would not be an issue.

A player may pick any stage they previously won on during the set, assuming it is not banned from stage selection that phase. ~ If both players agree, you may play on ANY Stage!
