Event Rules
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Tournament will be played on Nintendo Switch
- Format: 12-player FFA (No Teams)
- Bans: No banned racers or vehicle customization options
- Tournament Breakdown: Tournament play will be in two phases, with the First Phase being qualifiers in four waves, and Top 3 of each wave making it to the Grand Final Phase consisting of the Final 12 participants.
- Allowed Controllers: All non-turbo enabled controllers are allowed. If there are any questions about approval for a controller, please see an event judge for decision/confirmation.
- Handling Player Absences / Game Has Less than 12 Players: If a player does not show up to the match, a CPU (set to Hard) will take their place. The Human player(s) with the highest placement progresses accordingly in the bracket.

- Race Count: 6 races
Final 12 Round Settings:

- COM: Hard COM
