Lobby Configuration:
The lobbies should get the configuration explained below:
- Public game
- Allow Observers: 5 min delay

- Map state: Concealed.
- Map size: Micro (2 players)
- Biome: No particular preference
- Team starting locations: Team Together

- For Migration, players must select 'Small size (4 players)' instead of 'Micro size (2 players)'.
Server Rules:
Each player must have a stable internet connection, no other party can be responsible for the quality of a player's internet connection.
Players must agree on a dedicated server for their series, if there is no suitable server then they may alternate hosting.
If players take turns and are in their final game of the series, the final game server will be determined by a coin flip.
If players cannot agree on a server, or do not wish to take turns, then:
- If the players disagree on the choice of server, a server will be automatically assigned according to the players' geolocation:

If a player’s configuration does not appear, or if the player disputes the default server, an admin will make the final decision based on the geolocation of the two players, to avoid any advantage linked to the choice of server.
General Rules:
Gaming Rules:
- Intentionally deleting fish by placing building foundations on top of them is not allowed.
- Intentionally scanning for buildings or units using the blueprint of a structure is not allowed.
- Supervising a resource or a building with more than one imperial official is ban.
- Stone walls are banned in Feudal age. They can be built once the player reaches Castle age (Age III).
- Any form of animation cancellation against military units is prohibited.
- Any form of bug or exploit which is not supposed to be in the game during the tournament is prohibited and will be severely punished.
Cheating:
- Cheating or hacking is not allowed under any circumstances. Any player found cheating or hacking will be immediately disqualified and banned from all future events.
- It is strictly forbidden to communicate with anyone other than tournament administrators during a game. Receiving information from a third party during a game may result in disqualification.
- Account sharing is prohibited.
- Any player found to have either placed a bet themselves, instructed someone else to place a bet on their behalf, deliberately altered the outcome of an event, or recommended someone else to place a bet on an event in which they are participating will be disqualified immediately.
- Exploiting bugs to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited. Consistent and/or repeated abuse of one or more bugs by a player may result in reduced prize money, disqualification and/or exclusion from future events.
- Macros (external software/applications that emulate the use of multiple keys by using only one) are prohibited. Their use may result in disqualification.

Respect & Cooperation:
- All participants, broadcasters and administrators must express mutual respect to each other. Poor behaviour, insults, racism or sexism, will not be tolerated. Good sportsmanship is expected of all participants before, during and after all tournament matches.
- All participants must cooperate with a proper attitude and assist in any situation or incident they are involved in to ensure the smooth running of the event.
- Players who behave in a manner that threatens the progress, integrity or outcome of the event or its broadcast may be sanctioned with a reduction in prize money, disqualification from the current and/or future events, or even banned from participating in future tournaments.
- Players are asked to limit the time taken between games as much as possible.
Betting:
- Individuals involved in the outcome of the series are banned from betting. This includes Players, Admins, Tournament Organisers, Casters and any other person with the capacity to determine, influence, or rig a game and/or series. If any person included in the above group is caught placing bets they will be immediately banned from both current and future EGC events. In addition, legal charges may be presented.
Communication & coordination:
- All participating players must be part of EGC’s Official Discord Server (https://discord.gg/vgU625ws7C)
- Once registered for the tournament, participants must regularly check all platforms associated with the event for any general updates or direct messages.
- Players may also be contacted on other platforms if deemed necessary.
- EGCTV reserves the right to schedule any series to be started at any given time between 14:45 GMT and 22:00 GMT of any day mentioned in the “dates” section of this handbook. Participating players must remain available during this time frame, and be ready to play after a 10 minutes notice.
Administrative Restarts:
Administrators retain the right to restart a game under any circumstance.
Spectator rules:
- Failure to allow observers for a match may result in financial penalties for both players.
- Players whose series are being casted must mandatorily wait for an admin to authorise each game to start. Failure to do so may result in financial penalties.
Casting Guidelines:
- The entire event is open casting. Players wishing to cast their POV must set a 5 minute stream delay, include “MOR” in the stream title and tag the EGC Twitch or Youtube channel in the title.
- Casters wishing to cast the event must display the “MOR” Logo at all times.
- Casters must also include “MOR” in the stream title, and tag the EGC Twitch or Youtube channel in the title. In addition, both casters covering the games from an observer POV as well as Players streaming their POV need to add the command “!MOR” In their Twitch/Youtube. Said command must read either “Master of Realms is an AOE IV 1v1 Tournament Hosted by Elite Gaming Channel. Official stream at ‘https://www.twitch.tv/egctv’” or “Master of Realms is an AOE IV 1v1 Tournament Hosted by Elite Gaming Channel. Official stream at ‘https://www.youtube.com/@EGCTV_Official.’”
