Welcome to Roanoke, Virginia's first ever melee bracket! We will be starting at 6:30pm and the event will run no later than 9pm. The bracket will be determined 30 minutes prior to the tournament to allow competitors to arrive. We will be running the Akaneia build which will allow for characters such as Diddy Kong, Tails, Sonic and more. The only map eligible in this version we will be adding is Gamecube Realm as a starter stage.

Starting Stages: Battlefield, Dreamland, Fountain of Dreams, Gamecube Realm and Yoshi's Story

Counter Stages: Pokemon Stadium and Final Destination

Note: The Akaneia build will most likely not be the standard moving forward and at some point sooner than later become a side bracket. As this is the first event, the goal is to be inclusive to our regular crowd which includes some P+ and Ult players. The goal in the future will be to have a monthly that uses the traditional Melee ISO/Files.

Super Smash Bros. Melee

Super Smash Bros. Melee is the second installment in the Super Smash Bros. series and the follow-up to the Nintendo 64 title. It includes all playable characters from the first game, and also adds characters from franchises such as Fire Emblem, of which no games had been released outside Japan at the time. Super Smash Bros. Melee builds on the first game by adding new gameplay features and playable characters: it's major focus is the multiplayer mode, while still offering a number of single-player modes.
