- Overview
Welcome to the Nevada Esports Education League Giving Tuesday League of Legends Tournament! This is a casual, community-focused event that highlights teamwork, inclusion, and the joy of competitive gaming — while supporting esports education across Nevada.
- Eligibility
Open to all registered players and community participants.
Players must have an active Riot Games account on the North America (NA) server.
Each player may register on only one team.
Smurfing, account sharing, or use of unregistered accounts is not allowed.
- Team Composition
Teams consist of 5 players.
1 substitute may be registered per team.
Teams must designate a Team Captain responsible for all official communication with staff.
- Match Format
Game Mode: Summoner’s Rift – 5v5
Tournament Format: Single Elimination (Best of 1) or Double Elimination (depending on signups)
Semi-Finals & Finals: Best of 3 (Bo3)
Draft Mode: Tournament Draft
Server: NA
Side Selection: Determined by coin flip for Bo1 or alternating for Bo3.

Primary Map: Summoner’s Rift
Alternative Format: If fewer than 5 teams register, the event will change to ARAM (Howling Abyss) format.
If fewer than 10 total players register, the tournament will be canceled.

- Match Rules
Teams must be ready to play within 10 minutes of their scheduled start time.
Failure to appear on time may result in disqualification or forfeit.
The first team to destroy the enemy Nexus wins the game.
In the event of a disconnect, play continues — unless staff pauses for verified technical issues.
Each team is allowed one 5-minute pause per game for technical difficulties (must notify staff).
- Conduct
All participants must maintain respectful and sportsmanlike behavior at all times.
Toxicity, harassment, or griefing will result in penalties or disqualification.
Cheating, scripting, or third-party modifications are strictly prohibited.
Teams are encouraged to use Discord voice channels provided by NEEL for coordination.
- Prizing
Thank you for joining our Nevada Esports Education League Giving Tuesday Tournament!
50% of all entrance fees will go to the Nevada Esports Education League Esports Career Program, supporting scholarships and educational development.
The remaining 50% will be added to the player prize pot.
If fewer than 5 teams register, the format will shift to ARAM for fun and flexibility.
If fewer than 10 total participants enter, the tournament will be canceled.
- Streaming & Media
Players may stream their matches with a 2-minute delay to prevent ghosting.
NEEL may broadcast or record matches for promotional and educational purposes.
Participation grants consent to the use of your gameplay and likeness in NEEL media.
- Reporting Results
Captains must report match results to tournament staff or in the designated Discord channel.
Screenshot verification of the end-game scoreboard is recommended.
Staff decisions on reported results are final.
- Disputes
Any disputes must be reported immediately after the match to event staff.
Tournament officials have final authority on all rulings and may adjust results or replay matches if necessary.
