Tournament Rules
🔹Nexus E-Sports Series 2026 – General Rules
1. Eligibility
  • Tournament is open to all eligible players unless stated otherwise.
  • Players must register on Start.gg with correct details.
  • Any form of impersonation or false information may lead to disqualification.
2. Check-In & Reporting
  • Players must be present at the venue during their scheduled match time.
  • Late arrivals may result in a match loss or disqualification at the discretion of the organizers.
  • Match results must be confirmed by both players.
3. Match Format
  • Match formats (Best of 3 / Best of 5) will be announced per game and per bracket.
  • Finals formats may differ and will be communicated before the event.
4. Game Settings
  • All matches will be played on PlayStation 5 (PS5) unless stated otherwise.
  • Default tournament settings will be used.
  • Button mapping is allowed before the match begins.
5. Controllers & Equipment
  • Players may bring their own controllers.
  • Wireless controllers must be disconnected after the match.
  • Use of macros, turbo, or modded controllers is strictly prohibited.
6. Character & Stage Selection
  • Character selection rules follow standard competitive formats.
  • Stage selection (if applicable) will follow game-specific rules.
  • Any disputes will be resolved by tournament officials.
7. Disconnections & Pauses
  • Accidental disconnections will be handled by referees.
  • Intentional disconnects or pausing may result in a round or match loss.
  • Decisions made by tournament staff are final.
8. Player Conduct
  • Respect towards players, staff, and equipment is mandatory.
  • Any form of harassment, abuse, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Violations may result in penalties or disqualification.
9. Streaming & Media
  • By participating, players agree to allow event streaming, recording, and photography.
  • Matches may be streamed or recorded without prior notice.
10. Organizer Rights
  • Tournament organizers reserve the right to modify rules, formats, or schedules if required.
  • All decisions made by the organizers are final.
🔹 Game-Specific Rules
  • Game-specific rules (TEKKEN 8, The King of Fighters XV, Fatal Fury: City of The Wolves, Street Fighter 6 and 2XKO) will be announced on their respective event pages.
