Street Fighter 6 Tournament Ruleset

1. General Rules
  • Bring Your Own Controller
    All players must bring their own controller or arcade stick. Make sure your device is fully functional and ready to go.
  • Console Setup
    All matches will be played on PS4/PS5 consoles.
    Please ensure your controller is compatible and prepared ahead of time.
  • Check‑In & Punctuality
    Players must be present when called for their match. Failure to appear in a timely manner may result in disqualification.

2. Match Format
  • Standard Sets:
    All matches before Top 3 are First to 2 (FT2 / Best‑of‑3).
  • Top 3 (Winners Finals, Losers Finals, Grand Finals):
    These sets are First to 3 (FT3 / Best‑of‑5).
  • Bracket Type:
    Double elimination unless otherwise stated.

3. Game Settings
  • Game: Street Fighter 6
  • Rounds: First to 2 rounds per game
  • Timer: 99 seconds
  • Stage: Any legal stage that does not cause performance issues
  • Character Selection:
    • Winner must stay with the same character.
    • Loser may switch characters.

4. Controller & Connectivity Rules
  • Desyncing:
    Players must desync their wireless controllers after each match to avoid interference.
  • Malfunctions:
    If a controller issue occurs, pause immediately and notify a TO.
    Intentional or repeated disruptions may result in penalties.

5. Conduct
  • Sportsmanship:
    Respect opponents, staff, and the venue at all times.
  • No Coaching During Matches
  • Harassment or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in removal from the event.

BYOC

This is a Bring Your Own Controller event, whilst there may be spares we cannot guarantee availability.

We primary run events using PS4 and PS5 so please check your brackets and ensure you equip accordingly.

Our Venue

We run a strict no outside food and drink policy at our events, our venues do great work hosting us and have all the amenities you will need. Support us by supporting our venues because without them none of this is possible.

Our equipment

Please be respectful when using the equipment throughout the venue, this is graciously supplied by the community for the community including the venue.

Zero Tolerance

We run a zero tolerance for abuse at our events. The staff and organizers put a lot of work and effort into making these events fun for everyone.

Don't stink

Tournaments get sweaty, in more ways than one. There's a strong chance it could get hot in the space we have so please make sure to wash prior and bring deodorant.

Payments

Albion have kindly offered to take and manage payments for the event so please ensure on arrival you pay at the bar before you sit down and play.
