In-game ruleset will follow the Midwest unified ruleset . Starting stages are: Town and City, Smashville, Battlefield, Small Battlefield, and Pokemon Stadium 2. Counterpick stages are: Final Destination, Pokemon Kalos League, and Hollow Bastion. The games are 7 minutes, 3 stocks, with the winner of each game having 3 stage bans (NO DSR/mDSR). Payout structure will follow a 60/30/10 split for 1st-3rd respectfully.

Super Smash Bros. Melee is the second installment in the Super Smash Bros. series and the follow-up to the Nintendo 64 title.
