RULES

  • Platform: PS4

  • Tournament Format: Double Elimination

  • Match format: 3/5 rounds, 2/3 games, 60 seconds

  • All matches played before FINALS are Best of 3 (First to 2)

  • Losers Finals, Winners Finals and Grand Finals are Best of 5 (First to 3) *First stage selection: Random

  • Matches are loser's choice. A loser of a game may:

    • rematch with the current characters and stage
    • rematch with the current characters and a new stage of his or her choice
    • return to character select to choose a new character and random stage.

  • Button checks should be conducted prior to the commencement of the match. By starting the match, both players acknowledge that their buttons are correctly mapped.

  • Players are prohibited from using macros, turbos, or any peripheral that tampers with standard game functionality.

  • Character Customizations: Off

  • Character Preset Costumes are legal for tournament use with the exception of the following:

    • Jack-7 Preset 3 & 4 cannot be used.
    • Gigas Preset 3 cannot be used.
    • Players cannot use the same preset. Should both players wish to use the same preset, a 'Best of 1' coin-flip will be conducted by a Tournament Administrator preset for the duration of the Match.

  • In the event of a tied game declared by a Double K.O. or timeout on the Game screen, the game will not be scored and both players will replay the tied game with the same character selections.

Tournament Rules

All tournaments will be run on PlayStation 4. You can find specific tournament rules by using one of the tabs on the right.

Standard Tekken World Tour rules apply. The entire TWT 2022 rule-set is available at https://www.bandainamcoent.com/legal/community-events/official-rules-twt2022

Please make sure you familiarize yourself with the rules to avoid unnecessary complications.

Controllers and headsets will not be provided. Please be sure to bring your own PS4-compliant controller, a USB cable for controller synchronisation (if necessary) and/or headset.
