• The tournament platform is PS5. All players must have a PS5 compatible controller.

• The tournament format is Double Elimination.

• To win a set a player must win 2 or 3 matches depending on the stage of the tournament. To win a match a player must win 3 rounds.

• The time limit of a round is 60 seconds.

• Both players must choose a side from which they play. If both players want to choose the same side, they will play a best-of-three rock-paper-scissors to determine who picks their side first. The winner of the best-of-three rock-paper-scissors picks their side first and will be committed to that selection for the entirety of the match.

• The stage will always picked at random. The loser the match may choose between returning to stage select and choosing a new randomly selected stage or returning to character select to choose a new character and a new randomly selected stage. The winner of the match is not allowed to change their character or pick a new randomly selected stage.

• Use of character customizations is not allowed. Use of costume presets is allowed, but players are not allowed to use the same character and the same costume preset. In such case players will decide through best-of-one rock-paper-scissors who will pick their desired preset first for the duration of the match.

• The set format is FT2 throughout the tournament except for Winners Final, Losers Semi-Final, Losers Final & Grand Final, in which the set format changes to FT3.

The top 8 will be played in the following order:

• Winners Semi-Final
• Losers Round 1
• Losers Quarter-Final
• Winners Final
• Losers Semi-Final
• Losers Final
• Grand Final

Everyone working at or attending Re:INSTALL 3 must adhere to these rules and the Finnish law to ensure the safety and convenience of the event staff, attendees, and sponsors. The age limit of the event is 18 years and older.

§1: Re:INSTALL 3 is a safe space event. Any kind of harassment or disruptive behavior is forbidden. In case you have become a target of such behavior, you can contact the event security personnel, or our harassment contact person by phone at +358 449152021 for help to deal with the issue.

§2: In the case of an emergency, please contact the event organizers and the Pengerkatu 11 staff. In Finland, the emergency number is 112.

§3: It is strictly forbidden to bring any intoxicating substances into the event area. If necessary, the event security personnel have the right to confiscate any intoxicating substances brought to the event area. Smoking is allowed outside only in the designated area. This also applies to e-cigarettes.

§4: Intentional littering is prohibited. Breaking or stealing property is strictly prohibited and would lead to liability for compensation.

§5: It is forbidden to obstruct or block any passageways or corridors. Any blocking of emergency exit doors/routes is prohibited.

§6: It is advisable that attendees avoid keeping their personal belongings in the event area. There is a free self-service cloakroom at the event, where the attendees may store their belongings. The cloakroom is situated near the ticket desk.

§7: The organizers and security personnel have the right to remove anyone found violating these rules from the event. In such case, any participation fees paid by the removed person will not be returned.
