Winner's Semi-Finals, Loser's Finals, Winner's Semi-Finals, and Grand Finals will ALWAYS be played on stream. Disconnecting rules still apply- if you disconnect for any reason during a match you will lose a game of a set.

This is an all-ages event.

This tournament will take place online. You are not limited by location.

Meta Arena staff will be available on Discord.

Brackets will start promptly at 6:15 pm PST.

This tournament will have an automatic 6 minute DQ timer.

It is the player's responsibility to maintain their equipment and internet connection.

Platform: This tournament will be played on the Nintendo Switch, PC, X-box, and PlayStation 4 and 5

You must provide your own equipment and proper membership to play online. It is recommended to use a Wired Network adapter.

Format: This is a 2v2 tournament

BO3:double elimination bracket

BO5:when we reach the winners/losers finals,

BO7: for grand finals

Grand Finals will be a one-game advantage for the team that has not lost a set in the tournament

Allowed cars: All

Disconnecting during a match, intentional or accidental, could result in a loss of 1 game out of a set.

If your connection is causing too much lag and interfering with the tournament schedule you may be asked to forfeit a set or be disqualified from the tournament.

Please only allow TEAM CAPTAINS to communicate with Meta Arnea staff and TOs on discord if there are any issues or questions.

Match settings and Rules

Game Settings: • Default Arena: DFH Stadium • Bot Difficulty: No Bots • Mutators: None • Match Time: 5 Minutes • Double Elimination • Matches: BO3

Hosting: • Matches will be hosted by the team captain after all teammates are in the same party. Instructions will be given by smashgg on what team should create the lobby and what color each team should pick. The Lobby NAME and PASSWORD will be given to you by smashgg

Reporting Scores: • As with hosting the scores will be retrieved by the Fetch Game Data smash.gg tool • However if the need arises players can manually report scores • Players are responsible when prompted to validate the scores • If you have any issues you may request within your smash.gg match screen for an admin

Matches will be announced on Smash.gg after the tournament has begun. Players are responsible for checking into their matches, completing tasks assigned to their match, and accurately reporting the results for their match.

False reporting will not be tolerated and result in a DQ and potential ban from future events.

On-Stream Play: You may be asked to play on stream, especially at the later stages of the tournament. If you reach Winner's/Loser's Semi-Finals and up, expect to play on stream.
