• Final Destination is a starter; unfrozen Pokémon Stadium is a counter pick.
• Ledge grab limit of 40 for timeouts.
• Pound stalling limit of 20 seconds. This means that if a player inputs an aerial pound and does not land within 20 seconds without hitting or getting hit by their opponent, they forfeit the current game. Grabbing ledge does not count as landing.
• Use of Wobbling or the freeze glitch is banned and will result in a forfeit of the current game.

There is a 15-minute DQ timer when a match is called. If a player is not present for their match after 15 minutes, they are fully disqualified from the given bracket.

Best-of-5s begin at top 8 for each of the Singles brackets.
