  • Stage: Random
  • Players may RPS for side selection if desired.
  • Winner of previous game is character locked, loser may select a different character.

Winner of set reports score to TO desk.

Tournament Rules

Triple Threat

Triple Threat is a team bracket spanning 3 games: Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Blazblue Centralfiction, and Melty Blood: Type Lumina. Team members decide who will play what game at the start, and are locked into that game the whole way through. Each game is run as a separate bracket, and all games are ft2 until top 3, which is ft3. At the end of all the brackets, your placement in your individual game is ranked and added to your teams total. The top 2 teams at the end of all 3 brackets go into a secret final team event, with a special rule or two that will test your teamwork.

Arcadian Brackets

Players eliminated in early rounds from Smash Ultimate & TEKKEN 8 Singles brackets will be automatically entered into their respective arcadian brackets. These brackets will be held on the Sunday of Second Wind 2024. Eligibility for these brackets will be determined based on bracket numbers and placements. If you find yourself eligible for an arcadian bracket but do not wish to participate, please inform a TO so they can remove you from the bracket.

  • Please ensure that you have a compatible controller for any games you are entering into.

What happens if I'm late to my set?

If either player is not present when the set is called, a 15 minute timer will be started. If the player fails to show before 15 minutes elapses, they will be DQ'd from the remainder of that bracket. If you may be unavailable due to overlapping brackets, please inform the relevant TOs so they can co-ordinate which sets to run to ensure smooth bracket progression. If you need to leave the venue between sets at any point, please inform your bracket TOs so that you can be informed when you are required to play any further sets.
