San Diego Smash Ultimate has a new home on Thursday nights in National City at Stormking Gaming!

SCHEDULE:
5:00 PM - Venue opens for Friendlies / Sign-ups Begin
6:00 PM - Singles Bracket Begins
Venue is Open until 10pm but Smash will go until the tournament has ended
If you are going to be late, please message me on the discord (Slicer1313#9343) ensure your spot in bracket.

$5 Venue fee (per person) (waived with setup discount. See discount section for more info)
Spectators will not be charged the venue fee unless venue space is a factor
$5 Singles fee
Please BYOC! (Bring Your Own Controller) No controllers will be provided for you by the event.

We accept both CASH or CREDIT/DEBIT CARD for payment.

DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE
Setup Discount- If you bring a Switch setup that we use for a majority of the tournament bracket the venue fee ($5) will be waived. The setup must include: Switch System with Dock and Power Cable, A copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, HDMI cable, and a Gamecube Controller Adapter (The Official Nintendo one or the Mayflash adapter is highly preferred). You must ALSO bring a monitor in order to receive the full discount.
It is your responsibility to remind us of the discounts. If you do not ask for it, we will assume the discount is unneeded.

RULES
We use the California Ultimate Recommended Ruleset for our Smash Ultimate events.

Starters: Final Destination, Battlefield, Smashville, Town & City, Pokemon Stadium 2
Counterpick: Kalos
BF and Omega forms are allowed except for 2D ones
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION:
31 or less entrants will pay out through 3rd place: 50/30/20 split
32 to 47 entrants will pay out through 4th place: 50/25/15/10 split
48 to 63 entrants will pay out through 5th place: 40/25/15/10/5/5 split
64 or more entrants will pay out through 8th place: 40/20/15/10/5/5/2.5/2.5 split
