Game mode: Zone Battle with default settings.
Bracket Format: Double Elimination. Seeding will be made using SR and perceived in game skill. 


Rules: Matches before Top 8 will be FT3. Top 8 matches will be FT5. No opener bans. If a DC happens, the player who has the lower amount of rounds will forfeit the round difference once the room is made again, then both players will play to completion. Tournament will be run in the Puzzle Kingdom Discord server.

Example: Player 1 won 3 rounds and player 2 won 2 rounds. Once the DC happens, both players will join a room that is FT2, and player 2 will top themselves out for one round effectively mirroring the amount of matches needed to win prior to the disconnection.

First to 5

All games on Level 10, both players can gentlemen to Level 8. Should a match exceed 5 minutes on level 8, move to level 10.

Seeding will take place using both perceived skill and in-game rating. Set Length: Pools matches will be FT5. Top 8 will run FT7. Bracket Reset will also be  FT10. Top 4 will be streamed live on Twitch. Players will sign up with team names. Each team requires one Puyo player and one Tetris player. There are no opener bans.


Tournament Etiquette: Returning to the character select screen in the middle of the set is not allowed. For fairness and viewership quality, only the default Puyo Puyo skin is allowed. Please report to your matches in a timely matter. If you don't report your score or show up to a match in a timely matter, you will be disqualified by a tournament organizer. Please do what you can to keep the tournament moving along quickly.
