Event Rules
Competitors must be between the ages of 6 - 14 as of July 1, 2025. Birthdate must be between July 1, 2011 and July 1, 2019.
Tournament Rules
RULES SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND WILL BE CLARIFIED AT THE START OF THE TOURNAMENT
General rules
- Tournament open to ages 6-14
- Controllers will be available for rent ($5) but it is highly recommended you bring your own controller
- Matches will be one-on-one (1v1)
- Challengers eliminated after 2 losses (double elimination bracket)
- Players must choose their starting character at registration/check-in
- NO DLC Characters
- Players will be given ONE warning for inappropriate language or behavior, after that the player will be disqualified
- Zero tolerance for physical violence
- Player will be disqualified if they are more than 5 minutes late for their match
- 3 stock (lives)
- 5 minute game time limit
- All sets will be best of 3 games until the Semi-finals where games are extended to best of 5 games.
- Cash payout goes to top 3 and is split 60%, 30%, 10%. Amounts will be based on number of competitors.

Set Procedure
- For the first game of each mach, players use the character they chose at check-in
- Use Stage Selection Process to determine the first stage
- Players play the first game of the set
- Winning player/team of the preceding game strikes two stages.The losing player/team of the preceding game picks a stage for the next game
- The winning player/team of the preceding game may choose to change characters.
- The losing player/team of the preceding game may choose to change characters (winner of previous game picks first).
- The next game is played.
- Repeat Steps 4 through 7 for all subsequent games until the set is complete.
