Format: Double Elimination. Game Settings: Rounds: Best of 5 the whole way

Sets: Best of 5, with Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and Grand Finals often being Best of 5.

Character Selection: Winner of a match has to stick with the same character, while the loser can switch. Controller Rules: BYOC (Bring Your Own Controller)

General Conduct: Rules against cheating, hateful language, and unsportsmanlike conduct are standard. Pausing: Results in a round loss for the player who caused the pause.
