- Yoshi's Story
Steps:
- The players will do rock paper scissors and the winner will ban three (3) stages from the list of starter stages.
- The loser will ban four (4) stages, and the winner will choose from the remaining two stages.
- The players will then select their respective characters and play the game. This can be done normally or via double blind.
- After the game ends, the winner will ban three (3) stages from the list of stages.
- The loser will then choose the stage.
- Repeat steps 5 to 6 until one player has 2 wins in a best of 3 set, or 3 in a best of 5 set.
- Return to the stage menu and disconnect all wireless controllers from the setup.
- Report the score to the T.O along with characters used, stages chosen, and stock counts.

Code of Conduct for Competitors
Welcome to The Arena! To ensure a fair, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, we ask that all competitors adhere to the following code of conduct:
Apparel and Clothing
- Professional Appearance: Competitors should wear clean and appropriate clothing that is in good condition. Outfits should be free of offensive or inappropriate imagery, language, or messages.
- Comfort and Functionality: Ensure your clothing does not interfere with gameplay or the use of controllers. Avoid excessively loose or restrictive garments.
- Team Apparel: If representing a team or sponsor, wear designated team or sponsor apparel as required. Ensure any logos or branding adhere to tournament regulations and are displayed in a manner that does not obstruct gameplay.
- Footwear: Wear appropriate footwear, especially if the tournament is held in a venue with a strict dress code. No open-toe sandals or slippers are permitted for safety reasons.
Sportsmanship
- Respect for Others: Treat fellow competitors, staff, and spectators with respect at all times. Personal attacks, harassment, and unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.
- Conduct During Matches: Display good sportsmanship during and after matches. Avoid excessive celebrations, taunting, or disruptive behavior. Win or lose, acknowledge your opponent’s skill and effort graciously.
- Communication: Engage in constructive and positive communication. If you have concerns or disputes, address them through the appropriate channels with the tournament organizers rather than through public outbursts.
- Compliance: Follow all tournament rules and decisions made by the organizers and referees. Failure to comply may result in penalties or disqualification.
Personal Hygiene
- General Cleanliness: Maintain good personal hygiene. This includes regular bathing, clean clothing, and grooming to ensure a pleasant environment for all participants.
- Odor Control: Be mindful of personal odors. Use deodorant and avoid strong fragrances that may be disruptive to others. If the tournament venue is in close quarters, taking extra care with hygiene is especially important.
- Health and Well-being: If you are feeling unwell or are experiencing symptoms of illness, please inform the tournament staff and consider withdrawing to prevent spreading illness to others.
By participating in this tournament, you agree to uphold this Code of Conduct. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in penalties or disqualification. Let’s work together to create an enjoyable and respectful gaming environment for all!
