Format: Single elimination

All matches are played in a Best of 3 format

MATCH RULES

In a best of 3 match, the map picking order will be as follows: High seed ban Low seed ban Low seed pick High seed pick High seed ban Low seed ban Remaining map is tiebreaker In a best of 1 match, players will alternate banning maps until one map remains.

If both players agree to play a map that is not on the official map list, they are free to do so.

1st: 70%, 2nd: 20%, 3rd: 10%

Prize Pot: 2-16 Players = $100

Prize Pot: 17-32 Players = $200

CHEATING

Don’t Any player who cheats in a GXL event will be banned permanently from competitive play. Any player who cheats in public QUAKE play will be ineligible to register for any GXL event. Ruling on any in game exploits will be at the discretion of the Diabotical Esports team.

PLAYER CONDUCT

Competitors must be respectful toward other competitors, tournament admins and broadcasters. Threatening or inappropriate behavior towards the referees and the other competitors will not be tolerated. Punishment will be decided at the sole discretion of the GXL tournament team. Competitors must abide by the instructions made by the GXL tournament admins at all times. Any player making harassing statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc, will be disqualified from any GXL competition without question. GXL Tournament admins has the final word in regards to player conduct and any decision made is final.
