# General Information

VIRTUALETIX is back with a special edition event for the hype all around Tekken 8 and beyond. Put your gloves on and come play Tekken with us just for fun or to prove yourself in the VTX Purple Strike 2024 tournament.

The event is open to all Tekken players and will take place in Bern on 14 September 2024. The tournament will start at 13:30 CET in double elimination pools and play off in a top 8 double elimination bracket. The top 3 of the finals will swoosh with a fine cocktail drink. Tournament participation is not mandatory.

Registration deadline: 14 September 2024, 13:00 Registration/entry fee: CHF 40.00 Check-in: 13:00-13:30 CEST on-site

# Payments

We accept only PayPal payments in advance on start.gg. The purchase of any entrance ticket is binding and non-refundable. The event will take place with a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 48. Should the eventnot take place, the payment will be refunded. In case of no-show, the organizers have the right to exclude you from the tournament.

# Side Event

The event is also open to all players looking for some casual battles. It is all included in the ticket.

# Prize Pool

CHF 20.00 of the entry-fee per participant will go directly into the prize pool of the single stage, for example:

32 participants: CHF 640.00 16 participants: CHF 320.00 8 participants: CHF 160.00

The prize pool will be distributed as follows:
Up to 16 participants

1st place – 50% 2nd place – 30% 3rd place – 20%
Up to 32 participants and above

1st place – 40% 2nd place – 25% 3rd place – 20% 4th place – 15%
General Tournament Rules

Platform: PS5 or PC (Steam)
Format: Double Elimination
Rounds: FT2,  Match Finals FT3
Time to pick: 1 minute
Game time: 60 seconds
Characters: You can play all available characters in the game
Costumes: Basic character costumes are allowed, except costume 3 and 4 with Jack-7 and costume 3 with Gigas.
