  1. Overview

Welcome to the Nevada Esports Education League Giving Tuesday Valorant Tournament! This event is designed to be a casual, fun, and community-driven competition, celebrating teamwork and supporting esports education in Nevada.

  1. Eligibility

Open to all registered players and community members.

Players must have an active Riot Games account and play on the North America (NA) server.

Each player may only compete on one team.

Account sharing or smurfing is strictly prohibited.

  1. Team Composition

Teams must consist of 5 players.

1 substitute may be registered per team.

Each team must designate a Team Captain for communication with tournament staff.

  1. Match Format

Game Mode: Standard (5v5 – Plant/Defuse).

Map Pool: Ascent, Bind, Haven, Lotus, Sunset, and Icebox.

Match Type:

Early Rounds – Best of 1 (Bo1)

Semi-Finals & Finals – Best of 3 (Bo3)

Map Selection:

Coin flip or random draw for Bo1.

For Bo3: Team A bans → Team B bans → Team A picks → Team B picks → Remaining map is the decider.

  1. Lobby Settings

Mode: Standard

Cheats: Off

Overtime: Win by 2 (default Valorant rules)

Servers: NA

Spectators: Allowed (tournament staff only)

  1. Conduct

Respect all players, staff, and spectators.

No toxicity, harassment, or unsportsmanlike behavior will be tolerated.

The use of cheats, aim assists, or external macros results in immediate disqualification.

Teams must be ready within 10 minutes of their scheduled match.

  1. Technical Issues

Pauses are allowed only for verified technical issues (max 5 minutes).

If a player disconnects, the round continues unless the issue is server-wide.

Report all issues immediately to event staff.

  1. Streaming & Media

Players may stream with at least a 2-minute delay.

NEEL may broadcast matches, highlights, or player interviews.

All participants consent to possible inclusion in event photos, videos, and livestreams.

  1. Prizing & Format Conditions

Thank you for joining our Nevada Esports Education League Giving Tuesday Tournament!

50% of all entrance fees will be donated to the Nevada Esports Education League Esports Career Program, supporting scholarships and educational initiatives.

The remaining 50% will be entered into the player prize pot.

If fewer than 5 teams register, the tournament format will shift to a Free-For-All Deathmatch.

If fewer than 10 total players enter, the tournament will be canceled.

  1. Disputes

All disputes must be reported immediately after the match.

Tournament staff decisions are final and binding.

NEEL staff reserve the right to adjust rules, scheduling, or formats for fairness or technical reasons.

Participation implies full agreement to these rules and NEEL’s community standards.
