General Rules:
- Game Version: Latest version of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch.
- Game Settings:

- Time Limit: 7 minutes
- Items: Off and none
- Stage Hazards: Off
- Final Smash Meter: Off
- Spirits: Off
- Damage Handicap: Off
- Pausing: Off
- Stage Morph: Off
- Score Display: Off
- Mii Fighters: All moveset combinations are legal.

Stage Selection:
- Game 1:
- Players may agree to a double blind pick for their characters.
- Alternatively, players can decide who strikes first via Rock-Paper-Scissors (RPS).
- The winner of RPS bans 1 stage from the starter list.
- The loser of RPS bans 2 stages from the starter list.
- The winner of RPS bans 1 more stage, and the remaining stage is played.
- Subsequent Games:
- Winner of the previous game bans 2 stages from the entire list (starters + counterpicks).
- Loser picks from the remaining stages.
- Modified DSR: A player cannot counterpick to the stage they last won on in the set unless agreed upon by the opponent.
Character Selection:
- Game 1: Characters must be announced before stage striking.
- Subsequent Games:
- Winner of the previous game announces their character.
- Loser of the previous game announces their character after the winner has locked in their character.
Additional Rules:
- Tardiness: Players are expected to be ready to play when their match is called. If a player is not present within 10 minutes of their match being called, they will forfeit the match.
- Self-Destruct Moves: If a match ends with a self-destruct move, the results screen will determine the winner.
- Sudden Death: In the event of a timeout, the player with the higher stock count wins. If stocks are tied, the player with the lower percentage wins. If both stock and percentage are tied, a 1-stock, 3-minute match will be played to determine the winner.
- Glitches: Any action that causes the game to malfunction (e.g., freezing, disappearing characters) will result in a forfeit of the match for the player who initiated the action.
- Coaching: Coaching is not allowed at all throughout the set.
- Controllers: Players must use their own controllers. All standard controllers are allowed, including GameCube controllers, Pro controllers, and Joy-Cons. Players must ensure their controllers are functioning correctly before the match starts.
Conduct:
- Sportsmanship: Players are expected to show good sportsmanship and respect towards their opponents and tournament staff. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
- Reporting Scores: After a match, both players must report the results to the tournament organizer or designated staff member.
Stream Rules:
- Stream Setup: Select matches will be played on the stream setup. Players must comply with the stream schedule and instructions from the stream staff.
By participating in The Noodle Crown tournament, players agree to abide by all the rules and guidelines outlined above. The tournament organizers reserve the right to modify the rules if necessary to ensure fair play and the smooth operation of the event.
